Reservations
1. How do I reserve a Buenos Aires holiday rental?
Every Buenos Aires holiday rental on our site has an easy to use email form to book your reservation on line. Please follow the instructions under Request a Quote. Watch our reservation video: How to Reserve a Buenos Aires Apartment
2. When will I receive a reply to my reservation request?
We reply to all email requests within 24 hours, so please be sure to add argentinaconsultant.com to your safe sender list.
3. What is included in the published rates?
Rental rates include: taxes, utilities, internet service and check in and check out service during normal business hours Monday - Saturday.
4. What isn't included in the published rates?
All reservations require a US$40 non refundable reservation fee. Also, check in and check out fees apply for non business hours, Sundays and national holidays, please see T & C for complete details.
5. Can I pay in pesos, euros or any other currency?
Published rental rates are cash US$. Payments received in any other currency will be charged exchange fees.
6. Can I withdraw my rent payment from a Buenos Aires ATM? The short answer is no. Please see Buenos Aires Banks and Money Exchange.
7. Can I pay the rent by credit card?
Yes, we accept the reservation deposit payment using Google Checkout. But, the balance rent due and damage deposit are cash only at check in. We also accept Chase QuickPay personal money transfers for customers with a US bank account. Please ask for instructions and charges.
8. When will the damage deposit be returned?
Your damage deposit is returned in full in the currency paid at check out according to the rental contract.
9. When is check in; check out?
Check in is 14.00 We schedule your check in 2 hours after your flight is due to land at EZE International Airport, 1 hour if coming from AEP Domestic Airport.
Check out is 10.00 If you would like to check out after 10.00 an additional night’s rent is required. Please remember that most flights to North America leave late at night. We recommend you reserve a paid late check out so you can leave your apartment at around 6PM.
How do I reserve a Buenos Aires Apartment?

10. Who will check me in?
The property manager. When you arrive to the flat, ring the bell, the property manager will be waiting for you inside. He’ll show you the flat, collect the rent and damage deposit, you’ll sign the lease and he’ll give you the keys. 11. After my flight lands, how long will it take to travel to the flat?
EZE international airport – please plan on 2 hours to: clear Immigrations, collect your luggage, clear Customs and travel by taxi or remis to your flat. AEP domestic airport – please plan on 1 hour to collect your luggage and travel to the flat.

12. What do I do if my flight is delayed?
Please follow the instructions on your Reservation Confirmation – call the property manager's cell phone to reschedule your check in time. Fees may apply, please see T & C
13. What do I do if I miss my original flight?

14. How long will the property manager wait at the flat?
The property manager will wait at the apartment for 1 hour.
15. What do I do if I am more than 1 hour late for check in?

16. Who do I call if I have a question or problem with the flat?
Please contact the property manager. Your document Reservation Confirmation has the cell phone number of the property manager.
17. What does maid service include?
It includes the maid’s labor, but not the cleaning supplies. Laundry service is not included. At check in the property manager will discuss with you maid service options and provide a quote.
Who will check me in?

18. How do I prepare the flat for check out?

19. What time should I check out if I am flying from airport EZE or AEP?
The check out process takes about 15 minutes. Please plan on 1 hour to travel to EZE, 30 minutes to travel to AEP from you Buenos Aires flat.
20. What's the best way to return to airport EZE or AEP?
We recommend you use a remis. Please visit Buenos Aires Taxis for more details.
21. Who checks me out?
The property manager will come to your Buenos Aires flat to check you out at the designated time, and return your damage deposit.
How do I prepare the apt for check out?

22. Argentina uses 220 volts
23. Converters
Some US equipment has a built in convertor that covers a range from 100v to 240v (i.e. laptops, cell phones, I-phones) yet not all. Please read the label on your equipment. Convertors can be purchased in Buenos Aires for about 100 pesos.
24. Adapters
Power-strips with multiple plug in adapters are easy to find in Argentina and normally do not cost more than 50 pesos. Please note the difference: adapters versus converters.
